Master's Degree
Master’s degree programs
represent the second level of higher professional education, upon completion of
which graduates are awarded the academic degree of Master in their chosen field
of study. Master’s programs provide opportunities for deeper specialization
within a specific professional field and, in some cases, for changing the field
of specialization.
Duration of study: 2 years.
Purpose of study: to acquire advanced knowledge as well as specialized research and creative
skills in a particular field, and to prepare graduates for entry-level teaching
positions in higher professional education institutions (such as institutes,
academies, and universities).
Learning outcomes: graduates receive a state-recognized diploma of higher professional
education — a Master’s degree in the relevant field, enabling them to occupy
higher-level professional positions or to continue their studies at the
doctoral (PhD) level.
Previous education: higher professional education at the Bachelor’s or Specialist level.
Admission to Master’s degree programs:
— graduates of higher professional education institutions (institutes,
academies, or universities) submit their documents directly to the institute
and are admitted based on the results of entrance examinations and competitive
selection.
Applicants with an engineering
background may deepen their existing specialization or obtain a new
qualification in management (Business Administration) or pedagogy (Vocational
Education).
