Every year, the teachers of the Polytechnic Institute of the Tajik Technical University named after Academician M. S. Osimi in Khujand achieve good results in science and education. Following the guidance of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — the Leader of the Nation and President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, as well as government decisions and state programs, the institute works actively to develop its scientific potential and improve the quality of education.

In 2025, six teachers successfully defended their dissertations and received the academic degrees of Candidate of Sciences and PhD in different fields, including accounting, regional economics, architecture, agrotechnology, and literature studies. In addition, five teachers received the academic title of Associate Professor by decision of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. This shows the high level of professionalism of the institute’s staff.

Teachers and students of the institute actively took part in important scientific competitions and forums. Professor A. A. Nazarov received a diploma at the competition of Central Asian academicians held in Namangan, Uzbekistan. Master’s and undergraduate students won prize places in the national competition “Young Researcher and Inventor.” Master’s student Farida Mansurdzhonovna Ulmasova was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan in the competition “Master’s Student of the Year.”

Special attention should be given to the institute’s participation in the national competition “Science — the Light of Knowledge.” At the regional stage, 24 participants took part, and 17 of them became winners and earned the right to represent the institute at the national level. These achievements show the strong scientific potential of the Polytechnic Institute and its important role in the development of education and science in the Republic of Tajikistan.
